Greenpeace Goodwill at Cook Islands

The pacific islands greet Greenpeace warmly.  Greenpeace is on a tour to explain the affects of global warming to the Cook Islands. You can read the article here:

Greenpeace goodwill visit receives enthusiastic response

I wanted to read light news this morning, this caught my attention.  The world is not a huge place and even the Cook Islands are affected by what happens in New York.  I know a Greenpeace boat has nothing to do with New York.  Well, the pollution produced by cars get trapped in the atmosphere.  You know the rest.

The people of the islands went on the tour.  Greenpeace will be stopping at other islands in the pacific all summer.
